Q. What are your goals for the school year?

A. Our goal is to create a learning environment that is inviting, fun, motivating and challenging for students. The teachers and staff will be meeting the needs of all students through hands-on, real-life learning experiences and interventions to support learning. The goal that we set for our students is for them to do their best ? in their learning, respecting other students and adults, school attendance and being prepared for school each day.

Q. What will help ensure a successful school year?

A. Communication between home and school is a key to a successful school year. Parents should check the students' planner/homework folder daily and communicate questions and concerns to the teacher or other school staff members. Parents should talk with their child daily to discuss what they have learned and to review their homework assignments.

Q. Can students and staff expect any changes this school year?

A. New staff members will join the Clear Spring Elementary team this year. Please welcome a new kindergarten teacher, two new first-grade teachers, a new media specialist and a new enrichment teacher.

Q. What message would you like to send as the school year begins?

A. The beginning of the school year is an exciting time. It is a time to make new friends, meet new teachers and get off to a great start for a successful school year. We welcome visitors and volunteers to Clear Spring Elementary. Please become part of our great school environment.
