Q. What are your goals for the school year?

A. There are several goals this year. First, we are going to continue to improve academic achievement by providing a student-centered education in a safe and secure environment.

Second, staff is committed to maintaining open channels of communication with parents and community.

Third, students will be recognized for academic excellence, attendance and for awards received in their community activities.

Fourth, the staff will foster a peer mediation program using the WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) program and establishing a relationship with the LINKS program at the high schools.

A. 1. Maintaining high expectations for all students.

2. Continuing our grade-level teams and further cultivating a team approach by staff.

3. Developing a partnership with students, staff, parents and community.
