Charges in robbery case forwarded

The case of a woman charged with armed robbery and other crimes in connection with a Feb. 20 robbery was forwarded Wednesday to Washington County Circuit Court after she waived her right to a preliminary hearing.

A masked woman entered the Oak Ridge Liquor Store, 18208 W. Oak Ridge Drive, showed a handgun and demanded money from the store clerks, according to Washington County District Court documents.

The woman fled after she got about $350.

Lori Osborne, 36, was charged with robbery, armed robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and theft less than $500.

Osborne blamed Billy Lloyd Redman Jr. for making her hold up the liquor store.

Redman, of 535 Guilford Ave., was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery in connection with the incident.

Man charged with assault posts bond

A man charged with first-degree assault and other crimes after police responded to his home Saturday for a call of a shot fired posted $20,000 bond Wednesday, according to Washington County District Court documents.


The man fired a gun as his wife and child were leaving the home in the 12000 block of Greencastle Pike, Maryland State Police alleged in the charging documents.

Gabriel Eugene Stride, 36, was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of reckless endangerment in the incident.
