Maryland Symphony Orchestra Pops!

The Maryland Theatre, 21 S. Potomac St., downtown Hagerstown

Tickets cost $21 to $79 for adults; $11 to $40 for children ages 12 and younger, and full-time students.

The MSO continues its 26th season with "Movie Music Magic: A Salute to the Music of John Williams." The symphony will perform music from "Star Wars," "E.T.," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "Schindler's List" and more.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 15. For tickets, call 301-797-4000 or go to the MSO box office at 30 W. Washington St. in Hagerstown from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and on concert Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. in the symphony office and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the theater box office. Starting Sept. 7, symphony box office hours will include 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays.


West Virginia Symphony Orchestra

Berkeley Springs High School, 149 Concord Ave., Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Tickets are $5 for students, $20 for adults, and $15 for ages 65 and older.

The symphony performs romantic masterpieces, including selections from Richard Wagner, Antonn Dvork and Sergei Rachmaninoff. The concert features cello soloist Jolyon Pegis.

An Evening with Colin & Brad

Tickets are $35 to $55.

An evening with Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, both of whom were on the TV show "Whose Line is it Anyway?" The duo will involve the audience in their improvisational act.
