Suns win in 11

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - Joe Napoli scored from third base on Francisco Guzman's sacrifice fly to center field in the top of the 11th inning, and the Hagerstown Suns defeated the Kannapolis Intimidators 6-5 on Monday night.

Aaron Jackson (5-5) pitched the final two innings for the win, not allowing a run, hit or walk.

The Intimidators rallied for three runs in the ninth against Suns closer Yader Peralta to tie the game at 5.

Michael Martinez and Marcos Cabral each had three of Hagerstown's 14 hits, while Napoli, Patrick Nichols and Trevor Lawhorn each had two. Nichols and Francisco Guzman each had two RBIs for the Suns.

Hagerstown led 4-1 through six innings and 5-2 through eight.
