Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Institute

Foot surgeon Johny J. Motran, DPM, has joined the Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Institute LLC.

Motran has a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Maryland at College Park. He completed his doctorate of podiatric medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia.

He completed his internship and residency at the Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System in Baltimore.

The First National Bank of Greencastle

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Connie Burgan, manager of the McConnellsburg, Pa., office of The First National Bank of Greencastle, recently was promoted to the position of regional office manager.

Burgan, of the Hancock area, will be responsible for the management of the McConnellsburg offices and will oversee the Needmore, Pa., and Hancock offices. She will supervise and motivate staff to meet branch sales and service goals. She also has been charged with assuring that the bank's mission to its customers and employees is met.


She has more than 30 years of banking experience and is licensed to provide brokerage services through UVEST Financial Services.

One-Stop Job Center

James Marchinke has been appointed veterans representative for the Washington County One-Stop Job Center of the state Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.

Marchinke has more than three years of state service and has work experience in the private sector.

He is a graduate of Trinity University and has a bachelor's degree in administration with a major in human resource management. He is a veteran of the armed forces, having served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps.

The Job Center Veterans Program assists both veterans and employers with their employment needs.


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Don Giffin was June's top producer in Mlend mortgage company's Chambersburg retail operation.

Susquehanna Bank

Robert L. Fisher II was promoted to senior executive vice president and named regional president of Susquehanna Bank.

He will be responsible for retail and commercial sales in Washington County, Berkeley County, W.Va., and Franklin County, Pa.

As regional president, Fisher will serve as a representative of Susquehanna Bank for community activities and as the bank's primary point of contact for leaders in these counties.

Robert E. Goetz was promoted to senior vice president and named commercial sales manager of the Washington County and Berkeley County, W.Va., regions.

He is responsible for all commercial sales and business development activities in these markets.

Long & Foster

The Hagerstown of Long & Foster office recognized the following people for June.

Joan Schupp was Top Lister, individual; Ann Harne was Top Sales and Units, individual; and Mike Hill was Top Lister and Sales, commercial group.


FREDERICK, Md. - Kelli Johnson has joined Engineering Systems Solutions (ESS) as business development manager.

Johnson, who is based at ESS' Frederick headquarters, will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and managing business development processes for ESS. She also will handle the strategic relationships with content and technological partners.

Johnson served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a communications specialist for the Department of Defense. She also managed business development and market research projects for government contractors.

Johnson has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Suffield University.

J.P. Trucking Inc.

FALLING WATERS W.Va. - J.P. Trucking held its quarterly safety breakfast on July 22 at the Improved Order of Red Men club in Williamsport.

Safe driving awards were presented to the following:Greg Worthington, four years; Otis Burdette, three years; Michael Harley, one year; and Danny Foster, one year.

Kaitlin Green of Hagerstown has become an independent consultant with Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct-sales company.

As a consultant, she offers the company's gourmet foods and beverages to guests at home taste-testing parties.

Martin & Seibert

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Attorney Sandra Kay Drewniak has joined the firm of Martin & Seibert, L.C.

She previously served in several capacities with the U.S. Air Force, including as chief of the Military Justice Division. Most recently, she was a staff officer for the National Guard Bureau in Arlington, Va. She is a graduate of the Regent University School of Law.


John Kopyta, fiscal accounts clerk II, has been named Roxbury Correctional Institution's Employee of the Month for July.

He was given the award for performance of his duties during staff absences in April. He performed extra duties in timekeeping in addition to his normal duties.

Massey Real Estate Auctions

John H. Massey of Massey Real Estate Auctions recently was awarded the GRI designation from the Realtor Institute of Maryland. He has also received a real estate sales license for West Virginia.

J. Alvin Massey received his Pennsylvania real estate brokers license. He also holds brokers licenses in Maryland and West Virginia.
