MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Mr. David L. "Louie" Webb, 61, of Martinsburg, W.Va., former longtime resident of Frederick, Md., died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
He is survived by his devoted, caring and loving wife of 20 years, Linda (Fisher) Webb.
He was born on March 14, 1946, in Rockville, Md., son of Maggie L. (Frank) Webb of Thurmont, Md., and the late Arthur P. Webb Sr.
Mr. Webb was a sheet metal mechanic previously employed with Fort Detrick for many years.
He was a U.S. Marine and served two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He was a member of AMVETS Post 2 and Smith Mountain Rod and Gun Club.
Louie will be remembered as a very generous, caring person devoted to his family and grandchildren.
Surviving besides his wife and mother are one son, Shannon K. Webb and wife, Cheryl, of Smithsburg; one daughter, Jennifer A. Korrell and husband, Fleet, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Cody Korrell, McKayla Korrell and Rylie Webb; nine brothers and sisters, Paul Webb of Kearneysville, W.Va., Ella Lee Kiley and husband, Ron, of Germantown, Md., Bill Webb and wife, Ronnie, of Taneytown, Md., Ralph Webb and wife, Sandy, of Tucson, Ariz., Bonnie Schultz and husband, Mickey, of Union Bridge, Md., Debbie Kurz and husband, Steve, of Thurmont, Jane Wolfe and husband, Milton, of Thurmont, Jimmy Webb of Emmitsburg, Md., and Ruby Blickenstaff and husband, Jerry, of Thurmont.
