CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pearl L. Hawbaker Egolf, 73, of 6900 Molly Pitcher Hwy. and Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Aug. 15, 1933 in Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Levi M. and L. Katharine Dentler Hawbaker.

She was a homemaker.

She had served as secretary of the Tri-State Blue Grass Association of Brunswick, Md.

She is survived by her husband, J. Daniel Egolf, whom she married Sept. 20, 1958; two sisters, Evelyn Burkholder and Lois Swope, both of Chambersburg; two stepbrothers, Andy Bricker and Dean Bricker, both of Chambersburg; and nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha M. Byers; and three brothers, Ellis O. Hawbaker, Aden L. Hawbaker and Bernard A. Hawbaker.

Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home in Greencastle, Pa. Pastor Richard E. Egolf Jr. and Minister Carl W. Meyers will officiate. Burial will be in Browns Mill Cemetery, Kauffman, Pa.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
