Saturday, Aug. 4

· 9 a.m.: 23rd annual Fred Kaley Memorial 5K Run-Walk at Greencastle-Antrim High School, 300 South Ridge Ave.

· 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Motorcycle show on Center Square (at the corner of Baltimore and Carlisle streets).

· 11:30 a.m.: Official opening 36th triennial Old Home Week on Center Square - with keynote speaker State Rep. Rob Kauffman

Sunday, Aug. 5

· Noon to 4 p.m.: Antique car show on Center Square and North Carlisle Street

· 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.: Greencastle-Antrim Alumni Band concert at Jerome R. King Playground on North Carlisle Street

· 11 p.m.: Unofficial opening on Center Square (at the corner of Baltimore and Carlisle streets) - music and community singalong

Monday, Aug. 6

· 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: "Good Morning, Greencastle" at Otterbein United Brethren Church, 146 Leitersburg St. - comedy skit, variety of music, the PowerPoint presentation "People and Places in Greencastle" and door prizes

· 1 to 3 p.m.: "Reminiscing" at Evangelical Lutheran Church, 130 N. Washington St.

· 1 to 4 p.m.: Bus tour of community points of interest (badge required) - leaves from the front of Greencastle-Antrim Elementary School at 1 p.m., 500 E. Leitersburg St.; bus returns to school at 4 p.m.

· 8 to 11 p.m.: Adult dance featuring "Four Easy Pieces" (badge required) at Rescue Hose Co. Special Events Center, 407 S. Washington St.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

· 10 a.m. to noon: "Reminiscing" at Evangelical Lutheran Church, 130 N. Washington St.

· 1 to 4 p.m.: Bus tour of community points of interest (badge required) - leaves from the front of Greencastle-Antrim Elementary School, 500 E. Leitersburg St.

· 7:30 p.m.: "Pageant" (badge required) - historical play in the Greencastle-Antrim High School Auditorium, 300 S. Ridge Ave.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

· 11:30 a.m.: Official Old Home Week picture on Center Square, followed by ice cream social at Greencastle Presbyterian Church, 57 W. Baltimore St.

· 1 to 3 p.m.: "Reminiscing" at Evangelical Lutheran Church, 130 N. Washington St.

· 1 to 4 p.m.: Rescue Hose Co. open house and demonstration at fire station, 842 S. Washington St.

· 1:30 p.m.: James P. Oliver Memorial Bicycle Races on North Carlisle Street

· 4:30 p.m.: Ol' Boys Baseball Game at Jerome R. King Playground for players 35 years and older, Barkdoll Field on North Carlisle Street

· 7:30 p.m.: Pageant (badge required) at the Greencastle-Antrim High School Auditorium, 300 S. Ridge Ave.

· 8:30 to 11 p.m. Music on the Square by Rudy & the Bluefish, Center Square

Thursday, Aug. 9

· 8 to 10 a.m.: Chalk art contest at Lilian S. Besore Memorial Library, 305 E. Baltimore St.

· 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Senior citizen day at Tayamentasachta Environmental Center, 500 Leitersburg St. - with hayrides, making ice cream, nature activities, crafts and lunch. Lunch reservations must be made. 717-597-2020.

· 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Antique tractor display on Center Square (at the corner of Baltimore and Carlisle streets

· 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Dog show at Jerome R. King Playground on North Carlisle Street

· 6:30 p.m.: Old Home Week Parade. The parade will form and begin on East Leitersburg Street. Rain date is Saturday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 10

· 10 a.m. to noon: The Great Greencastle Sandcastle Competition at Jerome R. King Playground on North Carlisle Street - registration required by Aug. 6 by calling 717-597-9685

· 11 a.m.: Public meeting of Old Home Week Association Inc. board of directors at Lilian S. Besore Memorial Library meeting room, 305 E. Baltimore St.

· 1 to 4 p.m.: Fun Fair at Jerome R. King Playground, North Carlisle Street

· 5 p.m.: Greencastle-Antrim High School Alumni Reunion at Rescue Hose Co. Special Events Center, 407 S. Washington St.

· 7:30 p.m.: U.S. Army Field Band concert at Kaley Field, behind Greencastle-Antrim High School, followed by fireworks, 300 S. Ridge Ave.

Saturday, Aug. 11

· 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Tayamentasachta Environmental Center Special Events Day and Civil War Encampment, 500 Leitersburg St.

· 8:30 to 11 p.m.: Unofficial closing and music on Center Square (at the corner of Baltimore and Carlisle streets)
