Army National Guard Spc. Jacob D. Stottlemyer, son of Richard G. and Debra L. Stottlemyer of Boonsboro, has been mobilized and activated for a future deployment to an undisclosed overseas location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Stottlemyer is a cavalry scout normally assigned to the 1st Battalion, 158th Cavalry, Annapolis.

Stottlemyer is a 2002 graduate of Boonsboro High School.




Air Force Airman John M. Unger, son of Randy Unger of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Unger is a 2001 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.




Army National Guard Sgt. Mark B. Jacobs, son of Fred and Dotty Jacobs of Greencastle, Pa., has been mobilized and activated for a future deployment to an undisclosed overseas location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Jacobs is a wheeled vehicle mechanic normally assigned to the 1st Battalion, 158th Cavalry, Annapolis.




Army National Guard Pvt. Erin K. Martz, daughter of Douglas Martz of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Kathy Neuder of Chambersburg, Pa., has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Martz is a 2006 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.




Army Pvt. Jonathan A. Gregory, son of Ola J. and Barb Gregory of Martinsburg, W.Va., has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Knox, Ky.
