HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Dolores Virginia King, 58, of Hedgesville, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at her home.

Born Nov. 8, 1948, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Raymond Leroy King Sr., and Daisy Doris Balderson King.

She was a dog groomer, a teacher of grooming, a breeder, trainer and handler.

She was a member of the U.S. Lakeland Terrier Club, Bedlington Terrier Club of America and was instrumental in reviving the Bedlington breed. She was also a member of the Maryland Chihuahua Club.

She is survived by one son, Timothy Michael King of Glen Burnie, Md.; one daughter, Tina Marie Lamke, of Hedgesville; three brothers, Raymond L. King Jr, of Davidsonville, Md., Donald W. King of Forestville, Md., and Tommy L. King of Laurel Md.; eight grandchildren, one stepgranddaughter and two stepgreat-grandsons.


Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Hedges Chapel in Hedgesville. The Rev. Barbara Spies will officiate. Burial will be at Hedges Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg, W.Va.
