WILLIAMSPORT - Jack Lester McCauley Sr., 73, of Williamsport, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown.
Born Nov. 19, 1933, in Pinesburg, he was the son of the late Charles Edmond and Sara Jane Timmons McCauley.
He was employed by St. James Corp., Hagerstown, for 44 years until retiring in 1998.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of Williamsport United Methodist Church and Methodist Men.
He was a member of AMVETS Post 10, Hagerstown, IORM Tribe 84 of Williamsport, and Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion, Hagerstown.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mae Jackson McCauley; one daughter, Karen S. Eyler of Williamsport; two sons, Jack L. McCauley Jr. of Hagerstown, and Gregory A. McCauley of Williamsport; one sister, Mae E. Palmer of Downsville; one brother, Paul S. McCauley of Waynesboro, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
