CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Paul Lavester Milburn Jr., 70, of Charles Town, died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at Blue Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Charles Town.

Born Sept. 2, 1936, in Stephens City, Va., he was the son of Della Welch Milburn of Charles Town and the late Paul L. Milburn Sr.

He owned and operated Milburn's Tree Service.

He was Pentecostal.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Virginia Crawford Milburn, at home; three daughters, Tonja Shank of Shenandoah Junction, W.Va., Melissa Milburn of Charles Town and Stephanie Milburn; five sons, Dennis Crawford Sr. and Jeffrey Hetzel, both of Charles Town, Harold Hetzel and Eric Hetzel, both of Ranson, W.Va., and Wesley Milburn of Martinsburg, W.Va.; four sisters, Catherine Combs, Mary Lou Chrisman, Shirley Robinson and Linda Housden; two brothers, James Milburn and the Rev. Charles Milburn; 24 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Hetzel; one brother, Allen Milburn; and one granddaughter.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Millville Pentecostal Church. Pastors Joe Fraley, Benny Hardy and Charlie Milburn will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Lutheran Cemetery, Bolivar, W.Va.

The family will receive friends Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, Charles Town/Harpers Ferry.
