This fall, Hagerstown Community College will offer a digital art class, during which students will learn to apply computer techniques in a way similar to what a fine artist might do in the studio.
It is designed for artists, printmakers and visual communicators who are interested in experimenting with Adobe Photoshop and other media.
The class will be taught by Ellen Smith, digital artist and assistant professor of graphic design.
It will be held for 15 weeks on Thursdays, beginning Aug. 30, from 9 to 11:45 a.m. The class number is ART-207X.
