SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Norman Keith McKenzie, 74, of Shepherdstown, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at his home.

Born April 4, 1933, in Port Huron, Mich., he was the son of the late Norman J. Mc-Kenzie and Inez Cockerill Mc-Kenzie.

He worked as a lineman and engineering superintendent, building electrical towers across the country.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He flew light aircraft and cargo planes, and was a hang glider.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Leland-McKenzie; two daughters, Myra Robertson and Lori Soltis; one son, Thomas McKenzie; three sisters, Edwinna Schiffelbine, Frances Clark and Lorna Sischo; one stepdaughter, Amy Leland; one stepson, Robert Leland; four grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Aug. 25, at 4 p.m. at Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church, followed immediately by a reception at the church.
