Two teenagers hurt in Pa. crash

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Two teenagers sustained minor injuries Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident on Helman Road, according to a Pennsylvania State Police press release.

A 16-year-old Greencastle, Pa. boy was southbound on Helman Road in a 1993 Ford Ranger at 4:43 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, which went into the northbound lane, then back into the southbound lane, police said. The vehicle then struck an embankment, which caused it to flip onto its roof, police said.

The passenger was a 14-year-old Waynesboro boy, police said.

Police said both the driver and passenger were wearing seat belts.
