Trains for everyone

Battle of the Bands

Inaugural Downtown Live Battle of the Bands features 12 bands, including Van Lear, Prodigal Sons, No Tell Motel, Basement, Golden Butter Band, Odd Girl Out, The Pham and Dimestone Profit. Other activities include sumo wrestling, jousting and a BMX performance by the Hub City freestyle team. Discovery Station

Hip-hop dance-off

Train and toy show

The Cumberland Valley Model Railroad Club will hold its annual train and toy show. All scales of trains will be featured including N, HO, O, 027 and G, plus Lionel parts, train accessories, memorabilia, Hot Wheels, Matchbox and Winross toy vehicles, dolls, and antique and collectible toys. The club will operate a white elephant table. Sunday, early birds from 8 to 9 a.m.; regular hours from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Scotland Community Center, next to Scotland Elementary School, Main Street, Scotland, Pa. $5, early bird admission; $2.50, regular admission; free for children younger than 12.
