MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Donald B. Stonebraker, 84, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.

Born Jan. 27, 1923 in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Donald K. and Janice M. Middleton Stonebraker.

He was currently employed by Maxlock Locksmith Service.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.

He attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

He was a member of the VFW, Moose and Elks lodges and was past president of the Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mona Jenkins Stonebraker; one daughter, Deborah Wolodkewitsch; two sons, Donald S. Stonebraker and Jeffrey L. Stonebraker; one brother, Francis Stonebraker of Sykesville, Md.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.


A memorial service will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. G. Edward Grove will officiate. Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg.
