BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Thomas Astin Weller Sr., 51, of Berkeley Springs, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital.

Born March 6, 1956, in Alexandria, Va., he was the son of the late Edward and Estelle Virginia Brown Weller.

He attended Southern Fulton High School in Warfordsburg, Pa.

He worked as a parts facilitator at Rayloc in Hancock.

He was a Protestant.

He is survived by one daughter, Patty N. Weller of Berkeley Springs; one son, Thomas A. Weller Jr. of Berkeley Springs; four sisters, Nancy Weller of Wisconsin, Jeannie Weller of Colonial Beach, Va., Brenda Weller of Alexandria, and Dixie Henry of Fort Littleton, Pa.; one brother, Joseph Breakall of Warfordsburg; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his foster parents, Joseph and Mabel Breakall; two sisters, Catherine Kyle and Helen Hull; and four brothers, Edward Weller, Joseph Weller, James Weller and Johnny Weller.


Services will be Thursday at 8 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Rodney C. Truax will officiate. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
