ZULLINGER, Pa. - Albert W. Bishop II, 80, of Zullinger, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born July 21, 1927, in New Britain, Conn., he was the son of the late Albert W. Sr. and Sophia Juchniewicz Bishupiak.

He was the owner of A. Bishop Co.

He was a veteran of the Merchant Marines, served in the U.S. Army during World War II and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.


He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joanne Dunn Bishop; four daughters, Teal Hite, Tracy Mayobre, Tammy Groh and Tricia Blair; one son, Albert Bishop III; three sisters, all of Connecticut; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Services and burial will be private.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
