Lioness Club hosting picnic

The Hagerstown Lioness Club will hold its annual family indoor picnic Thursday, Aug. 2, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 601 Washington Ave., Hagerstown. The patriotic theme will be "Hail to the Red, White and Blue."

Parking will be available across the street in the church parking lot adjacent to Girls Inc., 626 Washington Ave., as Washington Avenue is a one-way street.

Social time begins at 6 p.m., followed by a buffet at 6:30 p.m.

The picnic is for Hagers-town Lioness Club members, family members living in the same residence, houseguests, and grandchildren.

The August picnic is considered a regular meeting for the Hagerstown Lioness Club.

Lionesses are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item for St. Mark's Food Bank.

Any Lioness who did not make a reservation at the July meeting and plans to attend the picnic should call the social chair at 301-797-0056 or 301-667-0169 by Thursday. Also, all cancellations must be made with the social chair.
