Attempted murder charges filed in Pa.

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - A Mount Union, Pa. man was charged with attempted murder and other crimes last week, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The man went to the home of some acquaintances and demanded money, police said in a news release. When the men in the home said they didn't have money, the man attacked them with a knife and said he would kill them if he didn't get money, police alleged.

One of the men in the home was wounded before the robber burglar stole $260 from him, police said.

Perry Henderson, 37, was charged in connection with the incident.
