'Shrew' being staged at HCC

The Robinwood Players at Hagerstown Community College will present William Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" Friday, Aug. 10, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 11, at 2 and 8 p.m. in the HCC Alumni Amphitheater.

Kate is played by Courtney Logsdon; Ashley Heckman plays Bianca; Jason Buhrman plays their father; and Ben Buhrman portrays Petruchio. An ensemble cast completes the adaptation of this story.

Tickets are $7 and are available at the show, or in advance at the HCC Bookstore. Those dressed in Renaissance attire will be able to purchase tickets for $4. Seating is general admission.

Some material is not suitable for those younger than 13. In case of rain, the show will be held in the Kepler Theater.
