The Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce welcomed the following new members in May and June:

Leadership Development Program

Washington County Leadership Development Program Inc. launched its first CEO Orientation program on June 27.

Deb Gorbsky of Citigroup and Dan Pheil of Cinetic Landis Grinding Corporation participated in the first CEO orientation program to be sponsored by Leadership Washington County.

Designed by CEOs for CEOs, Access Washington County gives new business leaders an opportunity to expand their professional network while learning more about Washington County, its social, economic and political climate and the challenges facing the area.


Antietam Call Center

Antietam Call Center of Hagerstown has received the 2007 Award of Excellence for the fourth consecutive year from the Association of TeleServices International.

ATSI is the industry's trade association for providers of telecommunications and call center services,

Antietam Call Center was presented the award at ATSI's 2007 convention at the Antlers Hilton Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo.

To receive the award, companies must score 80 percent or better in all categories on which they are tested, including call-handling skills, courtesy, and more.

Equipped for Life

Equipped for Life will hold a grand opening for its new, expanded location at 522 Dual Highway in Hagers-town on Saturday, July 28.

The grand opening will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Refreshments and tours will be available.
