COVE GAP, Pa. - The woman who was killed early Thursday when her car went off Pa. 16 at Mountain Road has been identified, according to a Pennsylvania State Police press release.
The woman was identified as Candis Bailey, 26, of McConnellsburg, Pa., police said.
Bailey was westbound on Pa. 16 in Peters Township, Pa., about 3:25 a.m. when her 1992 Subaru station wagon went off the road, through a yard and struck a concrete wall, police said.
The car's front end caught fire, police said.
