GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Donna F. Pentz Kerlin, 70, of 3783 Buchanan Trail West, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital, of cancer.

Born Jan. 23, 1937, in Greencastle, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Ellsworth and Gertrude Arlean Shatzer Pentz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine A. Kerlin, in 1998. They were married Sept. 11, 1959.

She was currently employed as a school bus driver by Greencastle-Antrim School District, having driven nearly 20 years.

She was a member of Calvary Bible Church and Macedonia United Brethren Church, both in Greencastle.

She was a Girl Scout committee mother, a Brownie leader, a member of Mercersburg Moose, National AARP and served as a volunteer of the Greencastle PTA.

She is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Siner and Diane L. Kerlin, both of Greencastle and Jodi K. Kerlin of Frederick, Md.; one son, G. Dennis Kerlin of Greencastle; four sisters, Mary Lawson of New Jersey, Jane Kesselring and Susie Dodson, both of Greencastle and Joyce Hykes of Williamson, Pa.; three brothers, James Pentz of Williamson, Joe Pentz of Chambersburg, Pa. and Robert Pentz of Mercersburg, Pa.; and five grandchildren.


Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home in Greencastle. The Revs. Glen A. Miller and Gayle L. Ruble Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
