COVE GAP, Pa. - A female driving on Pa. 16 was killed early Thursday when her car went off the road and crashed, according to a Pennsylvania State Police press release.
Police did not identify the driver because her family hadn't been notified yet.
Police said that the female was westbound on Pa. 16 in Peters Township in Franklin County, Pa. About 3:25 a.m., her car went off the road near Mountain Road, going through a yard, then hitting a concrete wall, police said.
The car's front end caught fire, police said.
