CLEAR SPRING - Benjamin Cecil Mills, 75, of Clear Spring, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at his home.

Born May 1, 1932, in Clear Spring, he was the son of the late Harry M. and Bertha B. Mowen Mills.

He retired from Garden State Tanning in Williamsport.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Phoebe M. Bragunier Mills; one daughter, Pamela I. Golden of Clear Spring; four stepdaughters, Melanie E. Dara of Shelby Township, Mich., Jody A. Brandenburg of Myersville, Md., Vicki L. Burger of Williamsport and Catherine V. Brown of Rockville, Md.; three sisters, Edna Pike of Williamsport, Marge Resh of Hagerstown and Betty Hornbaker of Chambersburg, Pa.; one brother, Norman Mills of Sharpsburg; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and eight stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda L. Mills; four sisters, Bessie Mills, Nellie Odell, Esther Moore and Frances Chaney; and seven brothers, Harry Mills, Charles Mills, Fred Mills, Paul Mills, Sherman Mills, Robert Mills and David Mills.


Graveside services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport. The Rev. Louis G. Charlebois will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport, which will open at 9 a.m.
