CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Fred K. Frank Jr., 80, of 1802 Johnson Road, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chambersburg.

Born Feb. 9, 1927 in Stoufferstown, Pa., he was the son of the late Fred K. Frank Sr. and Grace Crusey Frank.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Flora Belle Galbraith Frank, in 1977.

He was employed for more than 30 years, as a mechanic by Letterkenny Army Depot, retiring in 1982.

He was a veteran of World War II.

He was a member of Chambersburg First Church of God and treasurer of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

He was a member of Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599, past commander of Burt J. Asper American Legion Post 46 and a former member of Good Will Fire Co., all of Chambersburg.

He is survived by his wife, Carol A. Frey Frank; five daughters, Barbara L. Lockbaum, Brenda L. Jones and Penny L. Saunders, all of Chambersburg, Nancy L. Herr of Lititz, Pa. and Beverly L. Neuder of Orrstown, Pa.; two sons, Ed L. Frank and Gary L. Frank, both of Chambersburg; stepchildren, Julie A. Clopper of Chambersburg, Jerry E. Foreman of Troy, Ill. and Jana L. Foreman of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Ethel Ruby of Chambersburg; two brothers, Charles Frank and Donald Frank, both of Chambersburg; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ernie Frank; and one granddaughter.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Chambersburg First Church of God. The Rev. Earl E. Mills and the Rev. Stanley Darrah will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg, with military honors by Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Chambersburg.
