Hancock police answer 161 calls

HANCOCK, Md. - The Hancock Police Department responded to 161 calls for service in June, Chief T. J. Buskirk said at Wednesday's town council meeting.

The department performed 29 K-9 scans and issued 143 traffic citations, Buskirk said.

The department also made 25 arrests, including eight driving under the influence and five drug arrests, Buskirk said.
