He is survived by his wife, Margaret C. "Peggy" Gillespie, whom he married Oct. 8, 1960; one daughter, Lisa M. Pryor of Waynesboro; two brothers, Stanley Gillespie of Florida and Bruce Gillespie of New York; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Suzanne Velez.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Olivia Jewell Hunt, infant daughter of Juel D. Hunt and Misty D. Burton, of Hagerstown, died, Friday, July 6, 2007, at Washington County Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she also is survived by three sisters, Lashawna, Tiana and Shaienne Hunt, all at home; maternal grandparents, Geraldine Burton and Robert Gantt of Warfordsburg, Pa., and Robert and Linda Burton of Mercersburg, Pa.; and paternal grandmother, Rita Chambers of Baltimore.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jayvon J. Hunt and Robert L. Hunt; and her paternal grandfather, Matthew Hunt.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, at the convenience of the family.

QUINCY, Pa. - Marie E. "Betty" Foreman Stoops, 90, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of 214 Grant St., Waynesboro, Pa., died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, in the nursing home.
Born Feb. 3, 1917, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late J. Melbourn and Ethel Adams Foreman.
Her husband, Ralph L. Stoops, died Dec. 7, 2001. They were married Aug. 5, 1945.
She was a graduate of Waynesboro High School with the class of 1936.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Waynesboro, where she volunteered and participated in many church activities.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna M. Ferguson of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; one son, Donald E. Stoops of Waynesboro; four granddaughters; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Foreman and Melbourn A. Foreman.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro. The Rev. Sue D-Heedene will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday in the funeral home.

He was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy Bofink
He is survived by his wife, Janie Manis Bofink; daughters, Bridget Hayes of Ooltewah, Carol Babbitt of Cleveland, and Cindy Berger of Wilson, Mich.; one son, Ron of Nashville; one brother, Harold Bofink of Hutchinson, Kan.; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Frederick Bofink.
A memorial service will be Friday at 7 p.m., at Chattanooga Funeral Home Valley View Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Ruth Josephine "Joe" Baker, 90, of 433 Salem Ave., Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Washington County Hospital.
Born May 12, 1917, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles Powell Shry and Bertha Lee Lewis (Fry) Shry.
Mrs. Baker had worked as a shipping clerk for Southern Ribbon and retired from Maryland Ribbon.
She was a former member of the VFW and AmVets Ladies Auxiliary.
