Classic car show

The Chevy International and Worldwide Camaro Club is holding its 33rd annual convention. Hosted by the Heart of Maryland Classic Chevy Club. Today and Sunday. Clarion Hotel and Conference Center Antietam Creek, Hagerstown.

Founder's Day

The Sharpsburg Historical Society invites the public to help celebrate the 244th anniversary of the founding of Sharpsburg at Sharpes Burgh Founder's Day. The event includes historical exhibits and lectures, including "Explore Your Sharpsburg Family Roots" from noon to 1 p.m. and "The History of C&O Canal Boatsman Daniel Mose" from 2 to 3 p.m. Cake and coffee will be available from 10 to 11 a.m. Today. Discovery Station

Music by the Lake

The Music by the Lake summer concert series begins with music by the South Mountain String Band, a group from Hedgesville, W.Va., that performs mountain music, with dancing by the Rock Candy Cloggers. Today, 7 p.m. City Park band shell, Hagerstown.

MSO at the battlefield

The Maryland Symphony Orchestra will present the 22nd annual Salute to Independence concert. The orchestra will perform patriotic favorites, including "The Star-Spangled Banner," "Maryland, My Maryland" and "Fanfare for the Common Man." Car and truck show

The Rouzerville (Pa.) Lions Club car and truck show features cars, trucks and music by Mike Embly of Coast-2-Coast Productions. Sunday, registration from 9 to 11 a.m.; participant voting closes at 1 p.m.; trophies awarded at 3 p.m. Hooverville Elementary School parking lot, Pa. 16 between Rouzerville and Wayne Heights, Pa.
