MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - U.S. Rep. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., announced Thursday that Chris Strovel has been hired as her Eastern Panhandle field representative in West Virginia's 2nd Congressional District, according to a press release from Capito's office.
Strovel will work out of Capito's Martinsburg office and act as the lead liaison between the congresswoman and constituents and local governments in Berkeley, Jefferson, Morgan, Hampshire, Hardy and Pendleton counties.
Strovel is a 1993 graduate of Shepherd University. He currently works as news director for WEPM-AM in Martinsburg, as well as a host of "Panhandle Live," a morning talk show on the station.
Strovel is married to Cindy Strovel and has three daughters - Nikki, 14; Kelsey, 13; and Addyson, 4 months.
