Good Shepherd Ministries, 19763 Longmeadow Road, Hagerstown, a men's prayer breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. today.

St. Paul's Reformed Church, Clear Spring, Funfest 2007 today will begin at 3 p.m. on the lawn with the Carousel Barbershop Quartet.

At 4 p.m., the Mount Moriah Baptist Men's Choir will be performing and at 5 p.m., Sharps and Flats Gospel. Tim Moffitt will be in concert at 7 p.m. in the church.

Bring lawn chairs.

Hagerstown City Park, Outreach Ministries will present a One Nation Under God program this Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.

The New Beginnings Christian Fellowship choir will be singing.

Mountain View Baptist Church, 12107 Walnut Point Road, Hagerstown, a 4th of July Extravaganza will begin this Sunday at the services at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., featuring the Hensons.


A July 2 service starts at 7 p.m. and on July 3 and 4, services are at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. A noon picnic is planned on July 4.

For the additional services, the Hensons will be joined by the Mountain Echoes and other soloists. There will also be guest speakers and an evangelist to Civil War re-enactors.

Church of God (Universal), 12819 Point Salem Road, Hagerstown, the annual convention begins July 3 and continues through July 7 at 6 and 10 a.m., 2:30 and 7 p.m., and on July 8 at 6 p.m.
