Drum circle workshop

Scuba diving

WAYNESBORO, Pa. Five, four-hour sessions, consisting of classroom and pool instruction, lasting two hours each. During the classroom sessions, students will learn how to plan and conduct safe diving activities. Students will receive an Open Water certification card. Class size is limited. Beginning pastel drawing

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Adults will learn pastel-drawing techniques during a class offered by Adams County Arts Council's arts education center. CVSM classes

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Cumberland Valley School of Music offers two classes:

Music Together - Monday and Wednesday mornings, July 9 to 25. Children ages 18 months to 5 years and their parents will participate together, learning basic music skills through song, creative movement and rhythm instruments. Instructor Susan Matson.

Guitar class - Tuesday evenings, July 10 to Aug. 14. Ages 12 and older will receive instruction in melody playing, chords, rhythms, strumming techniques and ensemble playing. Instructor Tresa Paul.

Spanish language

Washington County Free Library's Friends of the Library will offer a Spanish class for children in grades five and six. 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. daily through Friday, July 20. Fun, Fun, Fun & Fit

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg YMCA will offer Fun, Fun, Fun & Fit, a class in which kids can experience activities such as centipede, tag, battle ball, screaming toes, mountain climbs and a climbing wall. Monday, July 16, to Saturday, Aug. 18. Grades three through seven meet from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Chambersburg YMCA.
