Coroner IDs body of man found in Chambersburg

June 29, 2007

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Franklin County Coroner Jeffrey R. Conner on Thursday identified the man found dead on a sidewalk Tuesday morning in the 200 block of South Main Street.

Conner identified the man as Francisco Reyes Lemus, 61, of no fixed address. His body was discovered Tuesday at 3:28 a.m. by a delivery person, Chambersburg police said.

An autopsy was performed Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown, Pa., but Conner said the cause and manner of death have not been determined and are pending the results of the autopsy and toxicology tests. That could take eight weeks or more, he said.

No signs of traumatic injuries were found on the body during the autopsy, Conner said Tuesday.
