MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for Thursday for two Berkeley County men charged with murder in the death of a Martinsburg woman found in a wooded area near the Berkeley-Jefferson county line last week.

Fred Dwayne Douty II, 28, of 1301 Texas St. in Martinsburg, and Anthony Charles Juntilla, 37, of 86 Tecumseh Trail in Hedgesville, W.Va., were arraigned Saturday on one count each of first-degree murder in the death of Tina Marie Starcher, 40, of 117 Centre St., according to charging documents.

Both men were being held without bond Monday night at Eastern Regional Jail.

Juntilla will have a preliminary hearing at 11:15 a.m. Thursday before Berkeley County Magistrate JoAnn Overington and Douty will have a preliminary hearing at 11:30 a.m. before Overington, court officials said Monday.

There is a chance that the hearings could be continued because neither suspect had an attorney as of Monday afternoon, court officials said.
