Four charged after heroin, guns seized

KEEDYSVILLE - The Washington County Narcotics Task Force, Washington County Sheriff's Department and Hagerstown Police Department charged four people with drug crimes, and seized three handguns and more than $5,000 worth of heroin in a drug bust Thursday, according to a task force press release.

Agents served search warrants for two apartments in the same building at 2 N. Main St. in Keedysville, according to the release. Police believed the suspects in both apartments were connected, according to the release.

In the first apartment, agents found heroin, hypodermic needles, marijuana and a handgun, according to the release.

Marsha Renee Jones, 37, of 2 N. Main St., Apt. 1N, and Gerald Eichelberger IV, 21, of 11 Bedrock Lane in Keedysville, each were charged with possession of heroin, possession of controlled paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, according to the release.

In the second apartment, agents found 90 suspected heroin capsules and a bag of raw heroin valued at more than $5,000, digital scales, two handguns and more that $1,500 in cash, according to the release.

The two tenants, Philip Adams Jr., 27, and Dora Grace Adams, 27, each were charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of heroin and weapons violations related to firearms and drug trafficking, according to the release.
