WILLIAMSPORT - A man with a gun robbed a bank in Williamsport on Thursday, Maryland State Police said.
Police said the man entered M&T Bank at 14 W. Potomac St. about 2:30 p.m., went up to a teller's window, showed a gun and demanded money.
The man left after the teller gave him money, police said. He last was seen going west on Potomac Street.
Police did not disclose how much money the man stole.
The robber was described as a white man in his early to mid-20s, and about 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was clean shaven and had a ruddy (reddish) complexion.
He was wearing a bright blue T-shirt and dark baggy jeans. He had a blue print bandanna on his head. He also wore sunglasses with dark lenses and silver frames.
