Four face charges in heroin drug bust

KEEDYSVILLE - The Washington County Narcotics Task Force, Washington County Sheriff's Department and Hagerstown Police Department charged four people with drug crimes, seized three handguns and more than $5,000 worth of heroin in a drug bust Thursday, the task force said.

Agents served search warrants for two apartments in the same building at 2 N. Main St. in Keedysville, according to a news release.

Police believed the suspects in both apartments were connected and served the search warrants at the same time, officers said.

In the first apartment, agents found heroin, hypodermic needles, marijuana and a handgun, police alleged.

Police charged both Marsha Renee Jones, 37, of 2 N. Main St. Apartment 1N and Gerald Eichelberger IV, 21, of 11 Bedrock Lane in Keedysville, with possession of heroin, possession of controlled paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, police said.

In the second apartment, agents found 90 suspected heroin capsules and a bag of raw heroin valued at more than $5,000, digital scales, two handguns and more that $1,500 in cash. The two tenants, Philip Adams Jr., 27, and Dora Grace Adams, 27, were both charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of heroin and weapons violations related to firearms and drug trafficking.
