Broadfording Christian Academy graduates 22

Twenty-two students graduated May 23 from Broadfording Christian Academy. Each graduate received a certificate listing his or her academic achievements and a recognition pin, according to an academy press release. Several awards were presented at the ceremony.

Lynn Marie Economos received the Academic Achievement Award for the 2006-07 school year.

Sierra Renee Litten received the Robin Angle Award, which is given to the "all-around senior," and the Longmeadow Merchants Association Citizenship Savings Bond.

Paul Clayton Merson received the U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar/Athlete Award.

The valedictorian was Jason Andrew Usher, son of Keith and Sandra Usher of Frederick, Md. The salutatorian was Jacob Aaron Pryor, son of Jon and Marilyn Pryor of Hagerstown.

The graduating members of the class of 2007 are:

Desiree Leneya Alexander, Jordan David Anthony, Morgan Elise Brown, Justin Eugene Cradduck, Lynn Marie Economos, Kaylie Nicole Emigh, Tyler Wayne Fath, Joseph Daniel Hurd, Rose Eileen Kugel, Sierra Renee Litten, Scott Eugene Marker, Paul Clayton Merson, Brittany Nicole Miller, Daniel Steven Paine, Jacob Aaron Pryor, Harry Samuel Reed, Kim Marie Rose, Tara Marie Shafer, Taylor Lea Shafer, Keith Hammond Snyder, Brittany Sue Suder and Jason Andrew Usher.

The senior class song was "Pray for Me," and the senior class hymn was "Amazing Grace."
