Hash, Darlington on All-State First Team

WAYNE, W.Va. - Seniors Jonathan Hash of Jefferson and Mark Darlington of Musselman were named to the First Team of the West Virginia Class AAA All-State baseball team - Hash as a pitcher and Darlington, who played shortstop for the Applemen, as a utility player.

The All-State selections were announced Saturday.

State champion Jefferson had three Second Team selections - junior Brandon Campbell (pitcher) and seniors Drew Stevens (infielder) and Matt Tiano (outfielder). Martinsburg sophomore pitcher Brandon King was named captain of the Second Team.

Martinsburg's Kevin Griffin, Jefferson's Justin Grantham and Hedgesville's Jesse Simmons received Special Honorable Mention status.

Martinsburg's Paul Chenoweth and Hedgesville's Matt Stewart made the Honorable Mention list.
