Hagerstown Trust

Louis J. Giustini has been named president/chief operating officer of Hagerstown Trust Co., a Fulton Financial affiliate.

Giustini previously was executive vice president/retail banking for Fulton Bank, also a Fulton Financial affiliate. He will manage Hagerstown Trust, which has assets of more than $500 million, and has 12 branches in Maryland.

Giustini joined Fulton Bank, based in Lancaster, Pa., in 1988 as a management trainee. From 1989 to 1999, he was branch manager of the Union Square, Skyline View and Mountville branches. In 1999, he was promoted to vice president/branch division manager, and in 2003, he was promoted to senior vice president/retail service group. In 2006, Giustini was named executive vice president/retail banking.

Giustini has a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. He is an honors graduate of the Central Atlantic Intermediate School of Banking, the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking and the Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending.


Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Sales professional Deb Stuempfle, of Waynesboro, has joined the Waynes-boro office of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA.

She has three years of real estate experience and is licensed to list and sell in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

O'Neill Physical Therapy Services

Lorraine O'Neill, P.T., owner of O'Neill Physical Therapy Services, taught a course entitled, "Fibromyalgia: An Evidence-Based Approach," at Care Resources in Baltimore.

Physical therapists attended the course about new treatment options for people with fibromyalgia.

BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT, Pa. - Synergy Healing Arts Center and Massage School held graduation for its 18th professional massage therapy program on April 3 at the Cozy Restaurant in Thurmont, Md.

Megan Myers, a stylist at Sagittarius Salon in Hagerstown, trained in California and Washington, D.C., with Great Lengths Extension Specialists.

Sagittarius has been certified in the extensions, which are individual strand applications of human hair.

Washington County

Brandi Jean Naugle, procurement specialist in the Washington County Procurement Department, has been awarded the Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification through the Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council.

Such certification is the process by which the public purchaser demonstrates a standard of competency for the benefit of the public, according to a prepared release. Certification reflects achievement of established professional standards and a competency for those engaged in governmental purchasing, the release says.

Naugle was required to acquire CPPB certification within five years of her employment in August 2003.

Robin Jones

FREDERICK, Md. - Laura Kelley has joined the public relations division of Robin Jones (RJ) full-service marketing, advertising and public relations firm as PR account manager.

She will handle public relations outreach for RJ clients.

Prior to joining RJ, Kelley held the position of Corporate Communications manager at The Mills Corporation, a real estate developer, where she directed the media relations efforts for the company's 36 shopping malls. She previously worked in the marketing department of The Washington Times.

Kelley has a degree in communications from McDaniel College, Westminster, Md.

Jackie Simmons has joined RoyalHouse Construction Inc., a family-owned custom home and remodeling contractor, as a design consultant.

Simmons is an award-winning interior designer with more than seven years of design experience. Her areas of expertise include space planning and designing from inception of a project through completion.

Simmons, who has a bachelor of science degree in interior design from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, was a senior interior designer for a national award-winning model home design firm.

Brook Lane has awarded the following staff members with Employee of the Month awards for May.
