A 79-year-old Hagerstown woman was charged on Saturday with selling drugs inside her North Jonathan Street home, according to a Hagerstown Police Department press release.
Thelma Regina Walters, of 321B N. Jonathan St., was charged with distribution of crack cocaine and two counts each of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
Police were told about possible drug dealing in Walters' home. The house was under surveillance for several weeks, and police said they saw a lot of people going in and out of the home, according to the release.
An undercover informant was sent to buy $40 of crack cocaine from Walters, and a search warrant of her home was executed on Thursday, according to the release.
