A man who used a small-caliber revolver during a holdup of a Susquehanna Bank Wednesday night left the scene on a boy's bicycle, according to a Washington County Sheriff's Department press release.

The robber was described as a white man in his 30s with shoulder-length blond hair, a blue ball cap and gray shirt. He is about 6 feet tall with a thin build, and weighs about 200 pounds, according to the release.

The robber entered Susquehanna Bank at 13232 Fountain Head Plaza about 6 p.m., displayed a gun and demanded cash before riding off on a medium-sized blue boy's bicycle, traveling south on Pennsylvania Avenue toward the city of Hagerstown, according to the release.

Anyone with information about the robbery may call Investigator Ryan Shifflet at 240-313-2171.
