Jefferson County Relay for Life set for June 22-23

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. - Jefferson County walkers will go around the clock in the battle against cancer during the county's American Cancer Society Relay For Life.

Teams will gather at Jefferson High's 9th Grade Complex for an overnight relay against cancer on June 22-23. Events begins Friday at 5 p.m. with survivor registration followed by the survivor's reception at 5:30 p.m. The opening ceremony begins at 7 p.m. followed by the luminaria ceremony at 9:30 p.m. Theme laps and various activities will continue through the night. Breakfast and the closing ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday.
