Faith Christian Fellowship welcomes Vance as pastor

WILLIAMSPORT - David Vance is the new pastor of Faith Christian Fellowship at 16726 Lappans Road.

A graduate of Heritage Academy in Hagerstown, Vance earned his bachelor's degree in pastoral ministry from Washington Bible College, Lanham, Md., graduating summa cum laude.

Vance earned his Master of Divinity degree from Capital Bible Seminary, also in Lanham, graduating cum laude.

Growing up in Hagerstown, Vance said he came to know Jesus Christ through the influence of his mother and early church experiences.

While at Washington Bible, he met his future wife, Allyson. They have been married nearly 10 years and have four sons.

After college, Vance began working as the children's Christian education pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Bowie, Md. Later, he was pastor of 20/20 Vision Ministry there.

Once he had earned his master's, Vance became an adjunct professor of Bible/theology at Washington Bible.

In his eighth year of ministry, he comes to Faith Christian, where he will be leading the growing congregation to discover their faith and deepen their growth in God's Word.
