St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Scott Bellows will preach this Sunday at the 8 a.m. communion service at the church. The 10:15 a.m. communion service will be at St. James School. A picnic will follow.

Sunday school resumes in the fall.

Asbury United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va., Youth Rally Holy Luau will be today from 3 to 7 p.m.

Tommy Murphy will give a message at the 11 a.m. youth service this Sunday. At 4 p.m. a decathlon for middle and senior high students will be held.

Youth fun night will be held at Shepherdstown Youth Center on Wednesday this week at 7 p.m. Bible study at Asbury also begins at 7 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Pastor Torben Aarsand will be celebrant and preacher at the 8 and 11 a.m. services this Sunday.

The service and Sunday school begin at 9 a.m. in the old Williamsport Ambulance Company building beside the post office.

Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Tim Leighton will be speaking during the 10:45 a.m. service this Sunday. The topic is Unexpected Life.

Sunday school for adults begins at 9:30 a.m. Children's church is at 10:45 a.m. Fellowship and refreshments follow the service.

Tri-State Fellowship, 13153 Cearfoss Pike, there will be one service this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the main auditorium with Pastor Randy Buchman speaking on Back to the Beginning, Acts 2.

Children's classes for infants through fourth grade occur until 10:45 a.m. Classes for all ages begin at 11 a.m.
