Shepherd soccer coach takes Howard job

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Shepherd University men's head soccer coach Joseph Okoh has resigned to take the head coaching job at Howard University.

Okoh, the program's all-time winningest coach, compiled a 65-57-14 record in his seven years at Shepherd, including a 38-13-9 mark over the past three seasons.

Okoh gained WVIAC Coach of the Year honors in 2005 as he led the Rams to a 17-2-2 overall mark and 5-2-0 conference record as the WVIAC regular-season champions. The Rams finished the 2005 campaign ranked 13th in the final NCAA Division II poll.
