Police arrest five during undercover work

The Hagerstown Police Department arrested five people Friday night during undercover drug operations on the city's north and west ends, according to a press release.

·Wallace Brooks, 39, of Hagerstown, was charged with conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, distribution of crack cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police reported they also found marijuana on Brooks after his arrest.

·Ronald Tolen, 33, of 232 Hawbaker Ave. in Waynesboro, Pa., was charged with conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, distribution of crack cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

· Darrell Shanton, 34, of 26 Avalon Ave. in Hagerstown, was charged with conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, distribution of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

·Rodney Simmons, 40, of 624 W. Franklin St. in Hagerstown, was charged with conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, distribution of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

·Mariah Woodfolk, 43, address unavailable, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
